Read books from the Library and take the Accelerated Reader (AR) quizzes for the books you read and earn an Ice Cream Sundae Party as well as a Reading Award at the end of quarter 3 (April 1, 2022).

How does it work?

· Read, Read, Read!

· Take the AR quizzes on the books you read and earn points

· 6 points for Kindergarten through Second grade will earn an ice cream party at the end of quarter 3.

· 12 points for Third through Fifth grade will earn an ice cream party at the end of quarter 3.

Where do I get the books?

· Your home

· School Library during library or before school

· Classroom Library

How do I know if the book is in an AR book?

· Look up your book on Accelerated Book Finder (https://www.arbookfind.com/)

· Ask an adult at school or home to help you

· Ask your school or public librarian

Where do I take the AR quiz?

· On your school computer, log into Canvas and go to the Library Page for Ms. Orluk.

· Then click on Books with Bolles. Go to How to the AR System and watch the video - How to find AR Quizzes.

· At school during library Encore

· At the public library

How will the school know how many points I earned?

· Your librarian has access to AR for all the students at Belmont
